Paradise [PG-13] [1991]
(I need to rewatch this one before rating it.)
In this movie, the poor kid has to act opposite Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson (when they were still a couple). This was only Elijah's second major film role, and he wasn't quite ready to carry an entire movie by himself--which is what he would have had to do in order to save this one. Except for the acting of Elijah, and Thora Birch as his new best friend, the movie's listless and the plot fairly predictable. It's supposed to be a touching story of a couple rediscovering their love for each other (that would be Don and Melanie), but it's hard to get emotionally involved when the actors don't seem to be.
In fairness, after experiencing TT&T, I should add that I don't see even Paradise as a truly bad movie, just not as good as others.
